Hi Crafty, thanks for the review.

The formula is caffeine free so you won't get the 'stimulant' effect, but you will get the increased performance effect as you described.  If you want an extra hit, simply go to your local discount chemist and purchase 'No-Doz' tablets.  They're extremely cheap especially if you buy the bigger pack and are 100mg or 200mg per pill.  That way you can control the caffeine dose to exactly what you want on the day.

Let us know how the combo goes for you Smiley

I am not sure if I have a high caffiene tolerance or what, but I just chomped 4 of these things and nothing... lol

I will give it a proper go with my workout after the x-mas period though before giving my final thoughts on the combo.

I stuck with this combo and I cut it down to two nodoze tabs... I get a much better result on a semi-empty stomach, aswell as with the pre workout extreme.

When I feel my face starting to tingle, it's time to hit the weights! Smiley

Yeah I feel it more on an empty stomach too. When I mix is with some WMS it absorbs in about 2-3 minutes and the tingles begin.  Smiley

Ah nice tip! I need to restock up my supps! I'm waiting on the flavours! Smiley

I am having 2 HEAPED scoops of PWX at the moment, probably could go 3.

To be honest you could go more but it probably wont do anything. The way Marcus formulates this stuff is to determine the effective dosage of each ingredient and then work out the ratios so that you get an effective dosage of everything with one serving of pwxt (2 scoops). So you could load up on the stuff but it's likely to just be overkill. Plus it will last longer that way.

Yeah there's no need to go above 2 scoops of PW-XT.  It's currently heavily discounted as I want to clear it out for a new version which will be better, flavoured, and also won't clump.  Very dissapointed on how the current one clumped up Sad  Still does what it's supposed to though Smiley

The taste is really zangy, likely the taurine? I had it in straight water once and WOW! Haha! Mega sour! I have it with orange juice now it's alot better I think.

After having it steady now for about 3-4 weeks I'm finding that it really kicks in towards the end of the session, I've found myself on a few occassions pumping out a few extra sets just for good luck! Wink

Yeah, it's not the best tasting stuff is it. Word on the street is that flavoured PWXT is in the works which should be good.

That's exactly what I find too, and why I like it so much. It's not like the caffeine based things where you charge in the gym and tear the place apart for the first half of your workout and then fade towards the end. It's like you don't really fatigue. Smiley Taking it regularly is important because I believe the BA builds up in your system over time and becomes more and more effective.

Once again Ruys is correct.  Beta Alanine works a bit like creatine where you build up the levels in your body over a few weeks and then just need a maintenance dose to keep it up.

Yeah I can definately feel the difference after longer term usage.

Infact I am considering modifying my workout to be longer for each session to utilise the extra energy and getting a hardcore pump, and then having a full rest day after.

I am still considering supplementing creatine aswell, I know you say you dont need to Marcus but would it still be beneficial?
