Hey mate, welcome to the boards.

I'm not too sure about the answer to your question. I know that heating some proteins will denature them and destroy the product but I'm fairly sure there are ones that you can heat.

What exact powder have you got?

Cool mate. I'd try PMing or emailing Marcus to ask him about cooking your tri release. He should have the answer for you. As it's a blend I suppose there's a chance that some of the different powders might react differently to heating.

As far as your diet goes, it's good that you're looking at your diet rather than a miracle supp. The answer is yes, you should be eating as though you already weigh 95kg to get to 95kg.

To give you an idea of a diet plan have a look at page 2 of my training log (http://forum.foodforgrowth.com.au/index.php?topic=665.15). I've got an outline of the diet I'm following at the moment which has me sitting at around 85kg and gaining (I have a very fast metabolism). What works for me may not work for you but it will give you an idea of how much you should be eating. Xplosive also posted a great clean diet up somewhere too, but I'm not sure where (try searching for it).

Thanks for all your help I think I'm kinda on the right idea...
Another question tho, do u think that having a mix of wpi and cc with orange juice would be alright as a snack between meals ?? As I am on the run with work... Also should a include white carbs or fast digesting carbs?? As I'm currently trying only to have slow digesting ones???

Thanks heaps for help!!

A great quick snack to have when you're on the run is WPI with some oatmass in milk or water. I'd keep the fast acting carbs for around your workout. You don't want insulin spikes during the day as they'll only cause you to gain fat.

I always thought that orange juice was a slow digesting, so it wouldn't spike my insulin levels... Would it?Huh? Not sure? So would having fruit for lunch be a bad idea then??? I normally have an orange wit blueberries... Can u add any flavouring to the wpi and oatmass which isn't choc flavour something fruity as I have the unflavoured version... I'll post my actually diet up tomz so  u can tell me where I'm going wrong..
thanks again

I believe freshly squeezed orange juice has a deceivingly low GI rating because the insulin spike it causes is delayed by the fructose being metabolised by the liver. It is still very much a sugar. I wouldn't recommend eating fruit alone as anything other than a little snack let alone lunch. My lunch consists of pasta, beef or chicken and veggies in a tomato based sauce. This is more like a well balanced meal containing complex carbs, protein and fats whereas a big bowl of fruit contains sugar, water, a little fibre and some vitamins.

Once you post up your diet we can go over it. Maybe start a new thread in a more relevant section so other people can follow what you're up to.  Smiley

Im quite certain that yes, heating may denature the protein but in the end the amino profile will be the same and in the case of cooking it should still provide adequate nutrition.

I never thought of it like that. I guess the protein can't go anywhere.
